Club Islington Juniors launching soon!

Club Islington Juniors will be available for 5-11 year olds, with a disability, from 10-11am on Saturdays at Sobell Leisure Centre, as an extension to Disability Sports Coach’s (DSC) Community Club Islington (for disabled people aged 11+). The first Club Islington Juniors session will take place on Saturday 24th September.

Those that are 10 or 11 will also have the opportunity to stay and join the older aged club for the remaining two hours with no extra charge.

Mike Bishop, Disability Sports Officer, GLL (Islington) said, “This new session is much needed in the area as there currently aren’t enough activities for younger disabled people. It will be a fun and sociable session for young people with a disability to participate in a wide range of sports outside of school. As well as a way of getting active and playing sport, it will be a way to meet new people and form friendships”

To register, simply turn up on the day and ask for the disability 5-11 multi-sports session at reception. DSC Coaches Jason and Liliana will be present throughout.

Please see the flyer below for details about the session. For more information please contact DSC on or call 020 7021 0973.
